CONTEMPORARY STYLE KITCHEN
Contemporary Twist in Bramford Speke
Bramford Speke Couple
Our customer wanted to keep references to a traditional ‘country’ kitchen but was also keen to incorporate contemporary themes and ideas. They wanted sleek lines and curves with no hard corners to create a welcoming and tactile feel which would be very family-friendly. This idea is particularly well demonstrated in the island unit in particular. The curves also help to lead the eye through the kitchen to the beautiful garden outside. The use of walnut and oak creates a contrast of light and dark whilst the inlaid detailing adds an extra touch of hand-crafted quality to the overall effect.
What We Did
This kitchen features Kashmir yellow granite work-tops, tiled flooring and a bespoke hand-crafted, curved wood central island unit.
Lasting Thoughts
