Beautifully Practical in Uffculme

Our client is very keen on being creative in the kitchen and really loves to cook. The brief was simple: a kitchen that brings out the best in her cooking and a beautiful space for entertaining. Combining bespoke oak furniture and painted doors, we’ve also incorporated traditional dressers to house her collection of crockery and tableware. A solid oak dining table, built to be an integral part of the island unit, can be removed to create more space for entertaining guests when needed.

What We Did

This kitchen features Zimbabwe Black granite worktops, terracotta tiled flooring and a round oak, removable dining room table, designed in conjunction with the central island unit. The table can be easily removed to create more space for entertaining.

When I was referred to Ashgrove it was refreshing to hear that they were a local firm within Devon with local builders and for the most part all their stock on site. I wasn’t just going for something standard like a shaker kitchen in beautiful sage green but we got there and I am really, really happy with it.
