17th Century Farmhouse in Hatherleigh

It was a real privilege for Ashgrove to be entrusted with the design and build of this kitchen in a 17th century farmhouse near Hatherleigh, Devon. It was a true partnership between client and designer to ensure sensitivity to the history of this listed building. A semi-fitted look, in keeping with the oak screen, exposed stonework and lime plaster, was key to the character of this much-admired finished project. A specially-made chimney breast and oak mantel around a new range cooker complete the look.
